After spending a few days together at Liuwa Plains Schalk and Maarten Potgieter still agreed to travel with us through Chobe, Savuti and Moremi.
We had tried to go to Moremi a few times before but it was always too wet.
Tis opportunity was exciting for us as we rarely had the luxury of an extra vehicle. In fact so sure was I that we would travel alone that I did not bring my spare radio which would have been very nice.
After breakfast with Bhejane at Thembe Lodge we set off for Chobe with Savuti and Moremi next.
I am not keen on recoveries as it can be hard work so we took extreme care wherever we drove - especially when there was water. Much wading assured that the path was safe before we ventured in. Thank you Schalk, Maarten and Sylvia for getting wet so I could keep the vehicle as dry as possible. So for those expecting exciting bits I am sorry to disappoint you.

This was one of the tallest wild dogs we have ever seen.
Old rock art which we found after a short climb.
Time for us to leave.
We saw two groups of wild dogs.
Good advice.
It is a bridge and without it you would need a boat to get across.
